COURSE OBJECTIVE: To study advanced mathematical topics needed for engineering. Topics include Probability, Statistics, Fourier Analysis, and Partial Differential Equations.

SUGGESTED SUPPLEMENTARY READING: Probability, Random Variables, and Random Signal Principles, Peyton Z. Peebles, Jr., Second Edition, McGraw-Hill.

GRADING:
  • First exam on Wednesday, June 23 - 25% of grade
  • Second exam on Wednesday, July 21 - 25% of grade
  • Final exam at 2:00 pm on Friday, August 9 - 40% of grade
  • Homework - 10% of grade
