E2 Brainiacs 2013 Mathematics Competition

The Department of Electrical Engineering at The University of Texas at Dallas cordially invites you and your students to our "E2 Brainiacs 2013 Mathematics Competition", on Saturday, April 20, 2013. The event will take place in the Alexander Clark Center (CN) at The University of Texas at Dallas' campus from 8:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Mathematics serves as one of the cornerstones of all great electrical engineers such as Thomas Edison, Alexander Graham Bell, Nikola Tesla, not to mention Nobel Prize winner Jack Kilby (inventor of the integrated circuit).

The competition categories are as follows: 

General Mathematics 6th Grade Geometry
General Mathematics 7th Grade Algebra II
General Mathematics 8th Grade Pre–Calculus
Algebra I Calculus

There is a nominal registration fee of ten dollars ($10.00) per student to cover costs of supplies, t-shirts and lunch. Lunch will be provided to teachers and chaperones at no cost. Please make all checks payable to: E2 Brainiacs. The University CANNOT accept personal checks from individuals. The registration fee can be paid with school checks, cashier checks, or money orders. The registration fee must be paid by April 10th, 2013.

To register type or print legibly on the registration form: School registration form ; Individual registration form and mail, fax or email the form to us, no later than Wednesday, April 10, 2013.

Note: Test subject should be one of the enrolled subjects this semester.

Pre-registration is required. Corrections or substitutions can be made by phone, fax, or email before April 16th, 2013.
